Meet Genelyn Reyes, known warmly by many as “Ate Gen.” She has been a member of the GoodWork Massage Team since the beginning of 2021, already servicing over dozens of clients with a consistent average rating of 4.7 stars. “Matagal na rin po akong Massage Therapist. Mga 7 years na siguro,” Ate Gen said cheerfully. “Sa province po namin ako nagsimula, sa Gen San. Dati nag-TESDA ako, so naka-move ako papunta sa Zamboanga noong 2015-2017. After naman nun, nag-apply ako sa Manila tapos nag iba’t iba na ako na spa, hanggang nakapag-abroad na ako.”
“Galing po kasi ako ng Saudi Arabia,” she explained, “kung saan ako nagtrabaho as a home service massage therapist and nail technician.” However, when the pandemic struck, Ate Gen was forced to go back home to the Philippines. “Noong 2020, bumalik ako sa Pilipinas dahil sa lockdown.” That is when she decided to look for work in Metro Manila. She wanted to take control of her own time and earnings, so she joined the GoodWork team as a Massage Therapist.
“Kering keri ko naman po dito kasi depende naman ito sa paano ka makitungo sa client. Kailangan po kasi iniingatan mo yung client mo para masatisfy sya, para mafeel na rin ng client na masarap yung massage kasi may love and care. Hindi ko po minamadali ang massage ko.”

Inaayos ko talaga na masatisfy sila. 1 hour po yung scrub, tapos after nun, lotion ang ginagamit ko sa 1 hour massage para maging smooth rin sakanila at hindi dry yung skin nila.”
