Meet Maria Luisa Tarala, also known as “Ate Lui” to her friends and family. Today, we’re shining the spotlight on her. She’s a GoodWork cleaner who has been with the team since November 2019. After three months of working as a cleaner, she was quickly promoted to Taguig Team Leader, a position wherein she oversees and supports the GoodWork cleaning team in Taguig.

Ate Lui is a bright, fierce presence in any room she enters. When you talk to her, you know she means business. We asked her what her main work philosophy is, and this is what she had to say: “Masasabi ko lang naman na as a cleaner and team leader, ang trabaho dapat sineseryoso. Trabaho is trabaho.”
This strong work ethic can be traced back to her work history. Before GoodWork, she was an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) from Dubai and Kuwait, where she spent a combined six years working as a domestic helper.
She believes that her experience as an OFW is the reason behind her hardworking personality. For her, work should always be strictly just work: “Yung mga problema mo, wag mong dadalhin sa trabaho mo.
Because of people like Ate Lui, GoodWork is able to offer home cleaning services that exceed expectations. Her strong work ethics and leadership skills make her stand out and take charge of any situation.
