Therence Roque, known to most as “Tere,” is a hairstylist who has been in the hair industry for 7 years. She started working with GoodWork in July 2020 as a beauty expert whose long list of skills include hairstyling, nail art, and massage. With this feature, we’re shining the spotlight on her and the hard work she’s put in as a GoodWork hairstylist.
Ate Tere can do it all! From your nails and hair to massages, she’s professionally trained as an expert of beauty, and like many, she started out equipped only with the passion to learn about the craft: “Dati ma’am, nag-aapply lang ako sa tabi tabi. And then mga home service na.”
Founded by beauty mogul Ricky Reyes, the Ricky Reyes Learning Institute offers self-help, livelihood programs to make vocational education more accessible to local Barangays. Ate Tere was one out of many who became beneficiaries of that program. “May ranking po ako diyan!,” she adds proudly.
Ate Tere strongly believes in the value of working hard for what you want: “Dapat may tiwala lang sa sarili.
We’re lucky to call her a part of our growing GoodWork team of skilled service providers. Thanks to her, we’re able to offer safe and accessible hair services at home.
