Nail Tech Spotlight

GoodWork is able to offer salon-quality nail services at home because of service providers like Emjei Francisco, a nail technician and all-around beauty expert who knows the ins and outs of the industry. Today we’re shining the spotlight on ate Emjei and the expertise that she generously shares with GoodWork.

Emjei Francisco

With more than two decades of experience, it comes as no surprise that ate Emjei knows how to do almost everything related to beauty. “Since, I think high school, part-time ko na talaga yung nails. Noong una, lagi kasi akong nanonood ng mga nail technician na gumagawa at mahilig ako tumambay sa salon.” she says. Her favorite part? “Mahilig talaga ako sa mga colors sa nails. Love ko na nakikita na maganda at malinis yung nails, kaya fulfilling pag happy rin si client. Particular kasi ako sa linis and angles ng kuko. “

Aside from being a nail technician, she’s also a hairstylist, a makeup artist, and at one point, a microblading artist: “I had my training from Maybelline, L’Oréal, TESDA, Cosmocare, and Contours Singapore. I also have an international license in UK London as a hairdresser.” she adds proudly.

But even with her jaw-dropping list of credentials, it’s easy to tell that ate Emjei has her feet on the ground. We’re grateful to have her as a member of our team, and she assures us that it’s a two-way street: “Dahil sa pandemic, malaki ang problema for everyone. GoodWork is like a rainbow for everyone. Nabigyan ako ng opportunity to earn money, while enhancing my skills with new clients.”

At the end of every interview, we ask our service providers for parting words of wisdom. Ate Emjei wants you to remember the value of staying hopeful when things aren’t going your way. Quoting Rainbow by Southborder, she says that “there’s a rainbow always after the rain.”
